After a long year of back orders on this Whirlpool dishwasher heating element, we finally have some in stock (as of 11/29/21 we have 60 on hand). These took a LONG time to get here so if you need this dishwasher element act fast. 
This is a replacement heating element used in many Whirlpool designed dishwashers. It doesn’t actually heat the water so if water temperature is a problem, it’s best to start by looking at the water heater itself. You can usually judge this by simply turning on the hot water at the sink nearest to the dishwasher. This element is designed to maintain that hot water temperature during the wash cycle and to heat the air during the heated dry cycle.
The W10518394 dishwasher heating element comes with two rubber washer/seals only. If you need the terminal nuts that screw on to hold it in place, see part # WPW10477552. These nuts are sold individually.
